1. Who operates Strata and accepting these terms

Strata is operated by Dr. September Quan Liu, CFA.

By creating an account, signing in, purchasing a subscription, generating a report, exporting content, or otherwise using Strata, you agree to these terms.

2. What Strata provides

Strata provides structured macro and equity research workflows for informational and educational purposes.

Strata does not provide personal investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, regulated brokerage services, portfolio management, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any security or financial instrument.

3. Research limitations and your responsibilities

Market data, evidence, forecasts, AI-generated analysis, generated reports, exports, and other content may be incomplete, delayed, revised, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

Past performance does not guarantee future results. You remain solely responsible for any decision you make based on Strata outputs and should obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, securing your device, and ensuring that information you submit through the app is accurate and lawful to use.

You must not misuse the service, interfere with app or backend operation, attempt to bypass subscription or credit controls, upload unlawful or infringing material, reverse engineer the service except where law permits it, or use Strata in a way that could harm the service or other users.

5. Subscriptions and credits

Strata Pro is sold in iOS as an auto-renewable App Store subscription. Eligible new subscribers may receive an introductory App Store offer: $29.99/month for the first 3 months, then $39.99/month.

The current Pro launch plan grants 50 paid credits each monthly cycle plus the free monthly credits shown in the app. Optional credit packs add non-expiring credits through one-off App Store consumable purchases. Standard and Strata Expert reports consume credits according to the credit catalogue shown in Settings.

Credits are intended for report generation. If a report cannot complete, entitlement and credit handling follows the backend billing and job-state rules active at the time of the request.

6. App Store billing

Payment is charged through Apple. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, App Store subscriptions renew automatically and your Apple account will be charged.

You can restore purchases and open Apple subscription management from the app. Refunds, cancellation, renewal, and some billing matters may be handled through Apple and subject to Apple's rules.

7. Service availability and changes

Strata is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, report completion, source availability, export availability, or that outputs will meet any particular investment, commercial, regulatory, or professional purpose.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, or protect the service, comply with law, handle non-payment, or respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents.

8. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the app, service, branding, software, workflows, and product design except where rights are expressly granted to you.

Your exported reports remain subject to these terms and any third-party rights in underlying data, sources, or materials.

9. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including certain liabilities for death, personal injury, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strata is provided without guarantees that outputs will be complete, correct, timely, or suitable for any particular decision.

10. Apple platform terms

If you obtain Strata through the App Store, Apple's platform terms also apply. Apple is not responsible for Strata's research service, but may have responsibilities relating to app distribution, subscription billing, and platform features under its own terms and applicable law.
